Forty moments of grace.
- 24 October 1986
Born into a family of faith
Olumide was born on 24 October 1986, at about half past eleven in the morning, to Mrs Olufunlayo Elizabeth Ademoye.
- University years
A clear call to purpose
At Covenant University, a young Olumide heard something that would shape everything after it. God gave him 1 Timothy 4:12 and made it plain: all that he would do would be done with his mouth. It was never only about music. It was a call to purpose.
- Career
A clear call to his career path
The call followed him to work. He began as a graduate trainee in consulting, moved into FMCG and rose to area sales manager. He then crossed into aviation, serving on both sides of the industry: as country sales manager for an airline, and as country manager for a travel agency. Alongside this, he works as a sales and leadership consultant, with a growing interest in the transformation of the mind. Sales, singing, preaching, mentoring: different rooms, one gift, all of it with his voice.
- 2015
Married the love of his life
In 2015, he married the love of his life, Imisioluwa Owolabi. Two lives, one purpose. Much of what came next, he has built beside her.
- 2019
Planted his first church
Long before he led a church, he served in one: in the choir, in the teens' church, and wherever he was needed. In 2019, Pastor Taiwo Odukoya set him and his wife apart to plant The Fountain of Life Church Hope Centre, which has since grown into The Hope Nation Church, the first of many to come.
- 2025
Expanding his worship ministry
Worship was never a side note in his story; it has always been who he is, woven into how he preaches and teaches. In 2025 he gave it a room of its own: the Audience of One worship sessions, the beginning of something new.
- 2026
Forty and still building
Forty years in, the foundations are laid and the building continues. This is a new season of exploring and establishing what is to come, and his life is still being poured out.
